Paula Foley Tillen (b. 1958) has been a professional musician in the Milwaukee area for the past thirty years. Foley Tillen has acted as music director for many metropolitan area theatre companies, serving in that capacity for Milwaukee's ComedySportz for eleven years. Paula is an adjunct faculty member at Milwaukee Pius XI High School, where she is director of the women’s chamber choir, staff accompanist, and piano instructor. In addition, she is director of choirs at Mount Zion Lutheran Church in Wauwatosa, WI; maintains a private piano studio of about 25 students; and remains much in demand as a pianist, vocal coach, and accompanist. Paula is a founding member and composer-in-residence of the only professional women’s vocal ensemble in the Midwest, the Milwaukee Choral Artists. She has co-written and composed for two original theatre pieces that have been produced by Milwaukee’s Windfall Theatre. Her compositions and arrangements have been performed throughout the US, have been featured at reading sessions of the ACDA’s national conventions, and can be found in the catalogs of Hal Leonard Publishing Co., Moon of Hope Publishers, Treble Clef Music Press, and Santa Barbara Music Press.
